Water is essential for good health and, in reality, it aids in almost every aspect of life. Since water makes up about 60% of the human body, it is important to maintain hydration levels in order to power cells and keep the brain and body working.

Here are few side effects of not getting enough water:

  1. Headache: Since your brain needs water, a lack of it can cause headaches and exhaustion. So, before you take your medication, drink some water and relax. The headache could go away without you having to do anything else.
  2. Poor Skin: Skin needs to stay hydrated from water to look dewy and young. Not drinking enough can increase the effects of aging and make skin look drier, flakier, wrinklier and just not as fresh as you’d like. With insufficient water, collagen can crack, leading to fine lines and wrinkles.
  3. Rise in body temperature: Sweat is the normal way for the body to cool down and control its internal temperature. Your body cannot properly sweat without enough water, and as a result, your core temperature rises, making you feel hot.
  4. Fatigue: Your energy levels may drop, and you may feel exhaustion and brain fog if you don’t replenish your fluid intake. So, the next time you reach for another cup of coffee, consider whether you just need water.

Avoid all of these side effects by carrying around a reusable water bottle with you this period, although, there are plenty of other ways you can stay hydrated aside from drinking water alone

Whatever you do, make sure you get those six to eight glasses of water; otherwise, dehydration can cause a lot of problems
